According to IP distribution cost (and symbiants), doctors are designed (like engineers) to use pistols or go martial arts.
MA wasn’t really an uber setup, even for docs dualing blades of boltar or similar weapons, at least until the shen sticks.
Sadly docs had to make choice :
- martial arts + shen sticks and have a decent pvm DD, and be a bit crappy in pvp (no ranged attacks, no weapons hotswap, no PvP DOT).
- pistols (dreadloch ones or not) : decent pvm DD, ranged attacks in pvp (not uber but at least we can shot someone running away), PvP DOT (working with dreadloch pistols AND xan pistols).
With LoX and new alpha symbiants, some doctors went to bow, since bow support was added.
sad, but most of them went back to pistol.
Since pistols users got love (access to pistol mastery 10, new DD perks) and new high damage pistols (pewpew+AS pistol), it’s probably THE most wanted setup actually.
So please, consider some docs still want to go/stay melee or MA, and want some balance.
Could we consider to add pvp dot flag to dual shen sticks equiped ?
Maybe a dreadloch modified shen stick (doc only) with some doctors oriented modifiers (nanocost, %heal efficiency, nano delta, …)
Add some MA perklines, or new buffs for MA users ?
I’m not asking for ranged docs nerf, i’m asking to consider giving love to melee and martial art oriented docs.
